What an awesome resource for teaching Music!
This book is attractively produced with colourful text and illustrations, and gives a clear and concise summary of the musical elements. The pdf format allows me to select relevant sheets for individual pupils – the pages on dynamics and symbols are particularly helpful for beginners. The pages on timbre, structure and texture are a great help in explaining these concepts to primary children who now have to understand them as part of the model music curriculum. I’m going to be using some of the pages as a classroom display. They are much more informative than some of the laminated cards I’ve seen in other schools!
Wonderful to find this! Very comprehensive. All the stuff I talk to my students about and beautifully laid out. This is going to be a welcome addition to my lessons.
