Description

Day at the Beach by Helen Morris is a set of seven fun and imaginative elementary pieces telling the story of a summer beach visit. Teach to pupils at Initial level or give as quick studies to pupils who are at Grade 1 or 2 level.

• Each piece describes an aspect of the day out.
• All pieces are in a fixed position (notes indicated at the top of each).
• Catchy tunes and repetitive elements – especially good for independent learning.
• No key signature but there are some accidentals.
• Some simple pedalling is indicated but not essential.
• One piece includes holding notes to create sympathetic vibrations (although an alternative solution suggested for those without acoustic pianos).
• Great for promoting expressive playing.
• Add your pupil’s name to the cover to personalise it.
• Choose a cover with coloured background or use the white background on coloured card.
